Telehealth

Telehealth

Telehealth (or telemedicine) means having your clinical care and clinical information provided to you via mobile phones, smartphones, computers and tablets. In the era of COVID 19 and social distancing, telehealth is becoming a major way of getting clinical care.

Outpatient Care

Outpatient Care

Most people who seek treatment for an eating disorder will attend an outpatient programme. Outpatient programmes typically offer a range of individual, family and group work that is tailored towards your specific needs. Child and adolescent outpatient programmes have a particular focus on family therapy.

Inpatient Care

Inpatient Care

This is generally required if you are so underweight that your health is in significant danger. Occasionally people are offered admission if the eating disorder is out of control and you are unable to manage your behaviours on an outpatient or day-patient basis.
