  • On January 23 2024, 35 multidisiplinary Clinicians from 5 HSE child and adolescent eating disorder teams commenced FT-AN training facilitated by the MACCAED Maudsley Service. FT-AN is a first line eating disorder treatment recommended by NICE, and from the same family of treatments as FBT.
  • The NCPED is pleased to commence RO- DBT training which is a key component of adolescent day programmes for adolescents with eating disorders. 5 members of the CAREDS team have commenced this training which will be completed in 2024.
